What will you do as an Inventory Specialist at Century Fence?

Century Fence is looking for a dedicated Inventory Specialist who will be responsible for managing and maintaining inventory accuracy across our operations. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in inventory control, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in inventory management systems.

Key responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts, reconciliations, and inventory system updates.
• Manage receipt, labeling, storage, and shipment of materials, ensuring alignment with purchase orders and shipping requirements.
• Collaborate with procurement and operations to forecast needs, support purchasing activities, and prevent stock discrepancies.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and control.
• Support the RFQ process and serve as backup for the Buyer during absences or high-volume periods.

What you bring:

• 1 - 2 years' experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, climb, and reach regularly as part of daily work.
• Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs consistently and using shop equipment and tools safely.
• Ability and interest in reading blueprints a plus.
• Ability to handle moderate noise levels in an office environment.
