GENERAL FUNCTION: Responsible for welding gates, posts, and other fence

materials to spec.

REPORTS TO: Shop Manager

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Read and interpret drawings, and work orders to determine welding
• Requirements
• Weld, cut, and assemble metal parts using various welding Using Mig Welder.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
• Monitor work progress and report any issues or delays promptly.
• Ability to operate a forklift as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

All roles are required to be on site at their assigned location daily to perform

their role.

• This position requires the ability to stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, climb and reach above the shoulders on a regular basis.
• Position requires the ability to lift/carry up to 50lbs on a regular basis and use various shop equipment and tools (including but not limited to ladders, carts, pallet jacks, etc.). Equipment must always be used in a safe manner.
• Shop teammates who are trained in use of the forklift, drive the forklift as a primary/essential duty, and/or are back-up forklift operators must have current training, a valid driver's license and always use the equipment safely.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
